loft at luna wedding

Zoe and Patrick chose the spend the first part of their Loft at Luna Grand Rapids wedding day with just their closest family and friends. Zoe did a stunning job designing the space. She allowed the architecture to speak for itself and accented it with simple candles and greenery. Not to mention, if you get married at the loft at luna, the tacos are BOMB. Also, tacos are the way to my heart, so yes please…and yes I did go back for seconds…ok thirds.

Grand Rapids, MI | Zoe + Patrick

There’s something undeniably magical about a Loft at Luna wedding — that perfect blend of industrial charm, modern style, warm atmosphere, and celebration that feels like you. When Zoe and Patrick chose The Loft at Luna in Grand Rapids for their wedding day, they intentionally created a rhythm that felt true to them — personal, emotional, and beautifully simple.

Ceremony for the Closest Hearts

Zoe and Patrick chose to begin their Loft at Luna wedding quietly — surrounded by only their closest family and friends. No grand entrance, no pressure — just the people who mattered most bearing witness to their vows. In a venue that already feels so personal and inviting, this intimate ceremony set the tone for what their day would truly be: emotionally rich, joyfully present, and deeply connected.

“We wanted our ceremony to feel special without feeling like we were on display — just loved ones right beside us.”
— Zoe

And because The Loft at Luna allows couples to hold both their ceremony and reception in one gorgeous space — with zero wait time in between — the energy of the day flowed so naturally.

A Space That Speaks for Itself

One of the things couples love most about a Loft at Luna wedding is how the space feels alive — without feeling like you have to decorate it into something else. Rustic brick walls, towering wood beams, and that open loft-style layout create a backdrop that’s already cinematic. Add simple design touches like greenery, tapered candles, and soft light … and it feels tender, timeless, and personal

Zoe knocked her vision out of the park. Her design respected the architecture while keeping the focus on what really mattered — connection, warmth, and celebration.

The Food Everyone Talks About (Yes… Even the Tacos)

Let’s be honest: when you find out your Loft at Luna wedding has amazing food, it instantly becomes part of your guests’ memories. The in-house Latin American–inspired catering (courtesy of Luna restaurant) is a rumor we happily confirmed with seconds … and yes, thirds

But it wasn’t just great food — it was the way moments unfolded between bites, laughter, and dancing. That’s the magic of this space: it doesn’t ask you to perform for your guests — it invites you to belong with them.

What Zoe & Patrick Cherish Most

When Zoe talks about her favorite memories from their Loft at Luna wedding, you can hear how layered the day felt. It wasn’t just one big highlight — it was the quiet in-between moments. Their first look tucked into the alley behind the venue, away from the buzz. The tenderness of the ceremony — not only the vows themselves, but the seconds before and after when it was just the two of them surrounded by parents and siblings. A few stolen minutes while waiting to enter the reception, standing side by side like, “Okay… we did it.” Sneaking away for couple portraits right after saying “I do.” And then the dances — their first as husband and wife, and the one with her dad that held a whole lifetime inside it.

Moments that could’ve easily been rushed.
Moments that, instead, were felt.

Because that’s the beauty of a Loft at Luna wedding — the space holds the celebration, but the real magic lives in the pauses, the glances, the deep breaths you didn’t realize you’d want to remember forever.

Zoe’s Advice for Future Couples

Stick to what you want — not what anyone else thinks you should do. Take time during your wedding day to enjoy the moments with your family and especially your new husband.”

That’s the heart of a Loft at Luna wedding: intentional celebration, beautiful surroundings, and joy that feels like home.
